Mode of Action:
Amla: Amla is one of the richest sources of vitamin-C. It contains proteins, anti-oxidants, carbohydrates, and essential fatty acids. These help prevent hair damage and repair the hair follicles . It reduces hairfall and treats dryness and itching of the scalp.
Shatavari: It is used in cases of infertility, decreased libido, threatened miscarriage, menopause, leucorrhea and has the ability to balance pH in the cervical area. It relieves pain and controlls blood loss during menstruation. It facilitates normal production of breast milk for nursing mothers.
Saunth: It acts on tissue metabolism, hence is used in the diseases of the stomach, intestines and their secondary manifested conditions(a disease which occur as an effect of sluggish metabolism)
Tulsi: Useful in many illnesses and everyday ailments like common cold, headache, cough, flu, earache, fever, colic pain, sore throat, bronchitis, asthma, malaria fever,migraine headaches, fatigue, skin diseases, wound, insomnia, arthritis, digestive disorders and influenza. The leaves are good for nerves and to sharpen memory. Chewing of Tulsi leaves help in curing ulcers and infections of mouth . Tulsi has excellent anti-malarial properties and its Paste is used against ringworm infection.
